Esteemed co-host of GHF Day 3 - Towards the Elimination of Malaria (29 mai)
Two years ago, Tsinghua University, Harvard University, the National University of Singapore, the University of Geneva, and the Swiss School of Public Health decided to launch a new alliance named the Global Coalition of Deans of Schools of Public Health. It aims not to compete with other alliances or federations in the same field but rather to foster initiatives in academic public health, both in education and research, at a global level. The Global Coalition has a lean structure and meets once a year: in 2022 in Beijing, in 2023 in Boston, and in 2024 in Geneva. This year’s meeting will be held in person during the vibrant week of the World Health Assembly (WHA) at Campus Biotech, which is within walking distance of the Palais des Nations, the venue of the WHA. Our program will consist of a dense, compact, and concise three-hour event held at lunchtime, during which we will have the opportunity to convene, hear from some of our students and faculty on “One Planet, One Health,” and discuss our training activities in the domain of planetary health within our Schools of Public Health.
